अपवर्ग: Breath Element

According to Tantra, fulfilling self with sensual energy, which is also called self-love is termed as swaUpasna(स्वोपासना or: स्व-उपासना). It always involves meditation over some thought. Thought to accelerate the energy within you up to the level of pushing the bad energy out from the body. Though we know that, this gives only a flash of pleasure glimpse, but it helps a lot in relaxation. Why? Because it involved a constant concentration over a kind of thought. You did meditation, right? You just did meditation and many times deep breathing. It flourished a new push to the energies within your body. For just a few minutes, you tried to harness your inner energy, but puff’, it has gone again. As soon as you pushed-out the liquid form of energy, the whole charm is gone. This is like, we waited 6 hours before our television to win our team in a football match, and even our team has won, and then? The charm of the match is gone. The charm of sitting before the television is gone.

Here, in tantra, we can prolong it, through Nirvana. The first step, in getting into Nirvana, actually, is to breathe. Breathing has amazing powers. It can stay you alive. It can take you to another world; it moves energy throughout your body. So if we regulate our breathing we can have an energy orgasm, without effort. And that will not be an air puff but a divine experience. It is the tantric sensual practice of reaching orgasm with no touch at all.
